I used oil paint for this on a canvas and in black paint i made little stars and  wrote "let him love you a little more" and covered most of the black paint in gold glitter (:

Art Gallery Opening

On April 19th Taylor and I went to a art gallery opening at Just for the seasons located in the Holiday center in downtown Duluth. This Gallery had some extremly good paintings of duluth and other sceneries. I even saw a block print but i didn't like it at all. it was a pair of high heels. two different colors. didn't line up at all and just looked so sloppy, maybe that was the artist's intent but in my opinion there wasn't anything special about it and i would even spend 5 dollars on it nore almost 100. I noticed A LOT of the art work was extremly spendy!!! the picture above is one that made me kind of double take it. it is an owl but to me it looks like a distorted human head sort of.. im not sure how this makes me feel but it got my attention so me and tay snuck a pic of it, idk if thats aloud, i'm guessin not haha we also got some dove chocolate, they had like three tables full of food! (: over all, it was a good experience. Tay and I also voted for our favorite peices because they were having some sort of contest or something. (:

This is my waterfall picture all put together on cardboard and hanging on the wall next to Mrs. Arro's room. Taylor and I both did this because Mrs. Arros is bomb and we <3 her! (: so we wanted out pictures next to her room.

Performance art

This is the Elite Dance Production from 2010. It was the entire dance companies classes dancing all together wether it was the girls of just 6 years old, or Nikki and I who were 16 at the time.

I made the first picture out of chalk, and the second picture with tempra paint and used a sponge for the utencil i used.

So far i've put together my canvas and sketched an outline of my picture. i've started on my layers of oil paint.
